Pregnancy & Baby Clothes and Gear Swap

What: An opportunity to pass along your lightly used pregnancy and baby clothes or gear, or gather necessary items for your pregnancy and babe in the first year!

For Who: All perinatal people!

When: Sunday, November 9th from 10am-12pm

Drop Off Days: Friday, November 7th from 3-5p & Saturday, November 8th from 2-4p

How it works:

1) Prior to the event, we host ‘Drop Off Days’ for folks who are wanting to gift items to the Swap. Below are lists of items we can and can not accept.

**Please SORT all clothes items by size (we accept pregnancy clothes and baby clothes 0-18 months) and be sure your gear items are organized and labeled so families understand what the item is. We cannot accept all items. There is a short list of items below to use as a guide.**

2) On the day of the event, our space is open and full of clothes and gear for you to browse through and collect!!

We ask a suggested contribution of $15-30 which will get you an EBBC tote bag to fill up with your swap items. No one is turned away for lack of funds, and any contribution is greatly appreciated!

FAQs

Is it free?

The Swap is donation-based, and no one will be turned away for lack of funds.

A $15-$30 donation helps keep our 10+ monthly drop-in community offerings accessible — and you’ll receive an EBBC tote as a thank-you!

I don’t really know what I’ll need…?

We’re happy to help! We’ll have parents and perinatal professionals positioned throughout the space to answer your questions and a ‘get list’ to help guide you!

Do I have to bring something to take something?

Not at all! Come as you are. Take what you need. Many folks have gathered items from the Swap and brought them back when they were complete :) the cycle comes back around!

We don’t accept donations the day of the event. If you want to donate visit us during donation hours!

How do I donate?

Visit us during drop off hours on the Friday and Saturday before the Swap! Please be sure your items are clean, sorted, non-expired, not missing items/broken, and would be a gift to receive.

Can I drop off donations at non-drop off times or on the day of the Swap?

No, I’m sorry! If you can’t make the drop off times, please ask a friend/community member to drop for you.

How should I prep my donations?

Thank you for asking!! Items should be clean and sorted when they arrive to us.

For example, clothes can be sorted by size and put into labeled paper bags.

Items that aren’t self-contained or or otherwise clearly identifiable should be labeled.

A friend gave me an item and I don’t know how to use/don’t know what it is. Can I donate it to the Swap?

Oh! Mystery item! We can try to help figure out what the item is and label it properly, but we will have to send you home with items that we can’t identify.

When’s the next one??

We host the Swap twice yearly, once in the Spring and once in the Fall. We look forward to seeing you there!
